V5 CROSS-PLATFORM FOCUS SHIELD
Less scrolling. More doing.
Works with Covaca Focus Cat on Windows, Linux and macOS. Browser data stays local.
Focus Shield
During a desktop focus session, distraction tabs can close automatically. Reward breaks pause the shield.
Upload protection needs optional access to pages so Covaca can see only upload/form activity. It does not send page content anywhere.
Website time limits
Desktop V5 URL/path rules sync through the local native bridge. These extra browser limits can also work outside focus sessions.
Desktop pet connection
V5 uses a stable Chrome-family extension ID and a Firefox ID, so native pairing does not change after reload. The desktop app registers the native bridge automatically from its Browser & Privacy page.
How time is counted
Active time in this tab: switching tabs pauses the timer; only that exact tab closes at the limit.
Time tab stays open: each tab has its own elapsed timer.
Active time per day: active use is shared across that website for the local day.
